When Sanrio was looking for a fresh and innovative way to showcase their popular Hello Kitty greeting cards online, they never thought that their 3-dimensional cards could literally come to life on the Web. Sanrio chose FireThread after experiencing a demonstration of FireThread’s inventive expertise in 3D animation. The fold-out cards were rendered as 3-D animated images onscreen, showing the functionality of the card as well as a 360-degree rotating view. FireThread was able to bring the full Hello Kitty greeting card experience into the hands of the customer through one easy mouse click.
